PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT OF BUCKTON FIELDS PRIMARY SCHOOL
We are pleased to introduce The Buckton Fields Primary School, which is to be developed in partnership with the Department for Education. We are seeking to bring forward the school as part of the Northampton North of Whitehills Sustainable Urban Extension, which is located to the south-west of Boughton.
The proposals involve the redevelopment of the site to provide The Buckton Fields Primary School. The school will be a mainstream, 2 Form Entry (FE), coeducational, non-faith primary school in Buckton Fields, Northampton. At capacity, it will offer 420 places, and will join the Preston Hedge’s Academy Trust, a multi-academy trust and approved academy sponsor. The scheme will include state of the art teaching and sporting facilities, for use of the pupils and the wider community. Extensive soft landscaping and tree planting is also proposed and cycle and car parking for staff and visitors will be provided.
In advance of the submission of the planning application to Daventry District Council (DDC), we would welcome your feedback and comments on the proposed planning application. Further information will accompany the planning submission and you will have the opportunity to make additional comments during the 21 day statutory consultation period.
