Enormous thanks are due to our fantastic school community for pulling together over the recent weeks of challenges at our existing building. We are delighted that from January 2024 our school will be back in its home community, in brilliant brand new purpose built premises, offering the same high quality creative learning spaces and resources children enjoyed at our existing building – with separate classrooms, a school hall, kitchen facilities – and now also offering an innovation space, new early years outdoor area and dedicated space for breakfast and after-school clubs. View details of the new building here.
Parents with children starting school in September 2024 are invited to experience our first-class education provision at our Reception Open Days and Evening Tours. We have various dates available in November.
Supported wonderfully by the nationally award-winning Preston Hedges Trust, the Buckton Fields School team continue to provide the very best teaching and learning opportunities for local children, albeit from different buildings.
School leadership will be the same in the coming weeks and months and from September 2024. The teaching staff will be the same, the quality of educational provision will be the same, and the values and ethos which drive this much-loved school forward will be the same.
Please take the opportunity to visit us for a tour and to meet our fantastic principal, Mrs Sarah Straiton.
Buckton Fields joined the Preston Hedges Trust as a brand new, two form entry school in September 2021. Proud of our exceptionally strong links with the community, and with the school’s brilliant neighbouring businesses, these strong links enrich and complement our creative curriculum and core values.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside, we enjoy studying natural beauty at Buckton, not only on our doorstep, but also more broadly as conscious citizens with a love for the world we live in.
Our focus is on celebrating every child as an individual; inspiring children to be passionate, empathetic and resilient in everything they do. We are committed to the wellbeing of our children and are determined that every child has their best possible start to school life, experiences an outstanding curriculum, reaches their full potential, and grows to be a happy, confident, well-rounded individual.
